Size requirements
Sizes change between notifications. Always check the latest official notification before you upload.

How to use it
- Sign in black ink, in running handwriting (not capitals), on white paper.
- Choose the photo or scan of your signature.
- Press Resize and download the 30–49 KB JPG.
Why is 30 KB the minimum?
A small signature image is usually under 30 KB, so the RRB portal rejects it. This tool resizes it and, if needed, adds harmless padding inside the file to reach the minimum without changing the picture.
The live photo
RRB takes your photo with the camera during the application. Wear clothes that aren’t white, use a plain background and keep your face centred.
