    Email attachments and many upload forms stop at 2 MB.

    If it doesn’t fit

    Tick greyscale for colour scans, remove pages the form doesn’t need, or split the PDF and upload the parts. Scanning at 150 DPI instead of 300 DPI also makes a big difference.

    Text and lines stay sharp; only photos and scanned images inside the PDF are made lighter.
