How to combine certificates into one PDF

Updated 6 October 2026

Many applications ask for “all certificates in a single PDF under 2 MB” (or 500 KB). Here is the quickest way to go from a stack of papers to one tidy file.

Make a PDF from photos Free, no sign-up. Files deleted after 24 hours.

Before you start

  • Photograph each certificate flat, in daylight, from directly above.
  • Crop out the table or background around each page.
  • Keep the order the form asks for — usually 10th, 12th, degree, then others.

Already have some PDFs?

Turn the photos into a PDF first, then merge it with your existing PDFs in the order you need. Compress the final file if it is over the limit.

Step by step

  1. Open JPG to PDF and choose all the certificate photos.
  2. Put them in the right order and download the PDF.
  3. If you have other PDFs, merge them into one file.
  4. If the file is over the limit, compress it to the size the portal asks for.
  5. Open the final PDF and check every page.
