MBA internship report: format and structure
An MBA summer internship report shows what you learned at the company and the project you did there. Most institutes expect the same structure; your institute’s handbook decides the details.

Typical structure
- Title page with the company name, your name, roll number and guide
- Company certificate on its letterhead, and the college certificate
- Declaration and acknowledgement
- Executive summary (one page)
- Company profile: history, products, structure, competitors
- Project: objectives, method (data, sample, tools), analysis and findings
- Recommendations, learning and conclusion
- Bibliography and annexures (questionnaire, data)
The company certificate
Ask your company guide early for a signed certificate on letterhead with your name, dates and project title. Scan it and place it right after the college certificate.
Step by step
- Make the title page, certificate, declaration and acknowledgement with the front pages maker.
- Scan the company certificate.
- Write each chapter as a separate file.
- Join everything with the report assembler for page numbers and contents.
- Compress the PDF if the portal has a size limit.
