    How to use it

    1. Sign in black or blue ink on plain white paper.
    2. Take a clear photo or scan and choose it here.
    3. Press Resize and download the 10–20 KB JPG.

    The live photo

    SSC asks you to take your photo with a webcam or phone camera during the application. Sit facing a light, use a plain background, look straight at the camera and don’t wear a cap or glasses.

    Why signatures are rejected

    Blurred or tiny signatures, signatures in capital letters, or files outside 10–20 KB. Crop close around the signature before resizing so it fills the image.

    Questions

    Can I still upload a photo for SSC?

    For recent SSC exams the photo is captured live in the application. Check the notification for your exam.
