IBPS and bank exam uploads, step by step
Bank exam forms (IBPS PO, Clerk, RRB, SBI and RBI) ask for four documents with exact sizes. Here’s what each one needs and how to make it right the first time.

The four uploads
- Photograph: 200 × 230 px, 20–50 KB, JPG, recent, light background.
- Signature: 140 × 60 px, 10–20 KB, black ink, not in capital letters.
- Left thumb impression: 240 × 240 px (200 DPI), 20–50 KB, blue or black ink on white paper.
- Hand-written declaration: 800 × 400 px (200 DPI), 50–100 KB, in English, black ink.
The declaration text
“I, (your name), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required.” Write it in your own running handwriting on white paper — not in capital letters, and not typed.
Thumb impression tips
Use a stamp pad, press your left thumb firmly once on white paper and lift it straight up so it doesn’t smudge. Photograph it from directly above.
Step by step
- Prepare the photo, signature, thumb impression and declaration on white paper.
- Open the exam form kit and choose IBPS (or SBI / RBI).
- Add all four pictures.
- Download the ZIP — each file is already the right size.
- Upload each file in the bank’s portal.
Questions
Is the left thumb mandatory?
Recent IBPS, SBI and RBI notifications ask for it. Candidates without a left thumb follow the notification’s alternative.
Is there also a live photo?
Yes — bank forms also capture a live photo, so use a recent uploaded photo that matches.
